Walking with the walker

I have been walking all over with my walker toys. My mom says I drive just like my dad. I have been standing on my own occasionally, but I haven't taken steps by myself yet. I also like to play peek a boo which I am doing at the end of the video.

Iowa State Fair

Mom, Dad, and I went to the Iowa State Fair this weekend. I was excited to see all the animals and the constant action of the fair. My mom's friends Lisa and Sara met us there. Sara is holding me in one of the pictures and Lisa, Spencer, and Cael are in the other picture. I enjoyed eating ice cream from the dairy barn the best. It was delicious! I can't wait until I am a little bigger and make my parents take me on all the rides.

Dancing

I enjoy dancing to the music my mom's cell phone plays. Every time my mom gets a text message I go get her phone and dance until the music stops. My mom says I am getting better dance moves than my dad.

Bathing with the boys

I didn't want Grandma Dunlavey to have to give three baths in one night, so I let my cousin Jay take a bath with me. After Mason heard we were taking a bath he decided to get in too. We had a lot of fun playing in the tub, but there wasn't much space to move around. Good thing Drew and Nick didn't stay at Grandma's that night because there was no more room in the tub!

Swimming with the boys

On July 8th I went swimming with my cousins, Drew, Nick, Mason, and Jay at Uncle Jeff and Aunt Cassie's house. All the boys took turns pushing me around in my floaty. When I had enough of the pool, I dried off on my dad's lap.

Eating my first cereal bar

Mommy gave me a cereal bar for breakfast one morning. As you can see, I had lots of fun eating it. My mom didn't have much fun cleaning me up though.

Visiting Great Grandma Eichmann

Daddy, Mommy, and I headed up to Mason City to visit my Great Grandma Eichmann. I liked getting lots of attention from everyone at the nursing home. Great Grandma and Jergen, her boyfriend, enjoyed holding and playing with me. I didn't sit still much though!

Hippo

My mommy's friend Michelle let us borrow her toy hippo to help me learn to walk. I enjoy just sitting on it and having my parents push me around. Whenever it is in the walking position I forget the seat isn't down and almost get stuck when I try to sit on it. My parents find that pretty funny, but I don't!

Hanging with the Werstein's and Herzog's

My Aunt Nina and Uncle Kevin Werstein and family came to visit us on July 31. I had so much fun with the twins Shannon and Courtney. They played with me all day and night long. Even Casey fell for my charm and held me. We all went to Des Moines that night and stayed with my other aunt and uncle Carmen and Steve Herzog. Their boys David and Adam entertained me also. I had a great time and was on the go nonstop!

Garage sale prize

Mommy and some of her friends went to garage sales a couple weeks ago. My mom only bought one thing which was a toy for the bargain price of $0.75. I love sitting on it and making it play music.
