Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken the same day as my first year pictures. My dad and I have the same cheesy smile in one of them! Aren't we a good looking group? I think so too!

My 1st Year Pictures

I had my first year pictures taken at Sears. My mom and dad were really happy with how they turned out and had a hard time picking out which ones to buy.

More party fun

I was glad that mom and dad decided to have my party at Oleson Park because there were so many things to do. My cousin Nick and friend Alex had a really good time playing in the splash pad, but they seemed to enjoy playing with squirt guns the best. We all walked over to the zoo and got to pet some deer, goats, and other animals. I had a great time opening my presents and loved each one of them!

Birthday Cake

My mommy and her friend Michelle made a number one polka dot cake, a little cake for me, and cupcakes for my party. My mom was very happy with how they all turned out. I liked it when everyone sang happy birthday to me, but the best part was digging into my cake. Daddy helped me really get into it. I was pretty messy by the time I got done and so was daddy.

My 1st birthday party

I had my first birthday party on July 11th at Oleson Park in Fort Dodge. A lot of family and friends came to celebrate with me. I played with sidewalk chalk for the first time, it doesn't taste too bad. I was so glad everyone came to help me celebrate my big day!

July 7th: Niabi Zoo

My mom and I stayed at my Grandma and Grandpa Dunlavey's house for an extra couple of days since Grandma and Aunt Cassie have the summers off like mommy. Grandma, mommy, Aunt Cassie, Drew, Nick, and I all went to Niabi Zoo in Coal Valley, Illinois on July 7th. We saw all kinds of animals and even got to ride the train around the zoo. Drew and Nick enjoyed feeding the fish. My mommy liked seeing the anaconda the best. I enjoyed being pushed in my stroller, eating snacks, and getting spoiled by Grandma!

Happy Birthday to me!

On my official birthday I was at my Grandma Dunlavey's in Charlotte. My Aunt Cassie and cousins Drew and Nick celebrated my birthday with me. Everyone sang to me and then I got to eat a yummy cupcake. My cousins even gave me a birthday kiss. I then opened up some of my presents. I had a great day!

Pool time

After we ate at Happy Joe's we all went back to Aunt Cassie and Uncle Jeff's to go swimming in their pool. Drew, Nick, Mason, Jay, and I had so much fun. Mason played with me almost the entire time. He pushed me around the pool and kept me giggling. By the time we got out of the pool I was exhausted!

July 5th

On July 5th we all went to Happy Joes in DeWitt for lunch. My cousin Jay and I got birthday sundaes. I liked it when everyone sang happy birthday to us, but I wasn't so sure about the lady honking the horn. I loved the sundae. Look at my daddy's face in the pictures that he is feeding me ice cream. Aren't the faces he is making funny? He opens his mouth everytime he feeds me. My mom finds it very funny and likes to tease him about it.

4th of July

We had a very busy 4th of July. In the morning Grandpa and Grandma Dunlavey, Uncle Joel, Mason, Jay, mom, dad, and I went to Dewitt to watch the parade. It was raining out, but we still went anyways. My Uncle Jeff drove a fire truck and my Aunt Cassie was on a float in the parade. I got to eat my first tootsie roll which I thought was very good. Later on that day we celebrated my cousin Jay's 3rd birthday. I tried to help him open some of his presents. Mom got a picture with me and all my cousins. That night we went to Uncle Jeff and Aunt Cassie's house to watch the Grandmound fireworks. I sat in Grandma's lap while my cousins played with sparklers. Then I hung out with dad around the fire as everyone roasted marshmallows. It was a great day!

July 3rd

We went to eastern Iowa on 4th of July weekend. Our first stop was to see Great Grandma and Grandpa Andrew in Mechanicsville. I got to see my aunt, uncle, and cousins. Great Grandma made a delicious meal and then we all went outside to see Tarin's new puppy. I thought it was very cute and even tried to pet it. I do not like grass at all so I stayed on a blanket the whole time we were outside.
